Their role in distorting what you had to say is something that the universe will judge the person/people concerned on.

When we enter into these matters of justice, we can only account for ourselves and our own actions even though we try to influence others.

I do believe quite firmly and strongly in natural justice - outside courts of law, etc. The one fly in the ointment is Time and the human concept of it.

I have a view on that too. Time, as we know it, is really to measure distance in "time" and "space" on earth. We don't see it in the same way as God/the Universe sees it. Therefore we get impatient and frustrated. And sometimes there are those who suffer - and we have great difficulty with that one.

I have seen natural justice appear to grind exceedingly slowly - and at times have been surprised at its speed. It carries out its execution though thoroughly, precisely, and very much to the point.

So we keep working away. I consider working at justice a prophetic work akin to the wonderful Old Testament prophets like Amos, Hosea, and Micah. There are never a lot of us - and we are frequently ignored. But Time and Justice and the Universe are on our side. Take courage!Brigidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07862531789968068093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5390527805110708777.post-63858437578201036812010-12-11T18:30:08.575+11:002010-12-11T18:30:08.575+11:00Many thanks for publicising this article. It is good to know there are some still endeavouring to bring justice to the Aboriginal people in the Northern Territory. In an attempt to have the truth printed our group sent a letter to the Centralian Advocate only to have it chopped in half thus distorting what we were trying to say and altering the facts. Discrimination in the media is rife. My best wishes to you and all who stand up for the truth.
Marlene Hodder,
Intervention Rollback ACTION Group
Mparntwe-Alice SpringsIntervention Rollback Action Grouphttp://www.rollbacktheintervention.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5390527805110708777.post-38848629993717229002010-09-04T17:02:21.640+10:002010-09-04T17:02:21.640+10:00so sad!so sad!Kittyhttp://www.kittycheng.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5390527805110708777.post-59114589103498741782009-08-07T04:00:01.354+10:002009-08-07T04:00:01.354+10:00Greenheart has ethical gifts for every occasion an...Greenheart has ethical gifts for every occasion and in a variety of price ranges. You said it had been a while - and indeed it has so I thought I would explain myself.

My life has turned upside down since late last year. Here in Melbourne Australia and new environment group was formed called GreenFaith Australia - www.greenfaithaustralia.com. GFA is an interfaith environmental organisation - and we are a real liquorice all sorts. This is becoming a real faith journey with me. As well, I have become involved with some major water issues. I am quite a networker - so I am on the fringes (while not being a member) of quite a few organisations connected with water issues. I am actually doing what amounts to a full time job - without any pay - in keeping up with this; putting people in touch with people; and organising our major project for the year: Walking humbly: a journey to the Murray. The Murray is Australia's largest river and the whole system is in deep trouble. We are in the midst of the longest drought since white settlement and we have not been good stewards of our rivers or our water resources. While the "walking humbly" idea comes from the prophet Micah and is meant to juxtaposed to what we have been doing, that is walking arrogantly, it also ties in with other ideas like the walking humbly mediation of the yogic tradition. You can read about the project on our website. So thank you for dropping buy - your blog is so interesting as ever.

Blessings and bliss
Brigid
aka
Miss EagleAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05972285659958872775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5390527805110708777.post-43472703992515161552009-02-27T07:05:00.000+11:002009-02-27T07:05:00.000+11:00Very inspiring.
